Geletta Shavers is an author and licensed mental health therapist whose work blends emotional depth, real-life insight, and page-turning suspense. A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, she holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and brings her clinical expertise into each story she writes, creating characters and plots rooted in authentic human emotion.

Geletta is the author of several compelling works, including Dragged into Darkness, The Inheritance of Amaya Montgomery, Loving Myself First: My Self-Care Journal, Twisted Desire: In Too Deep, and the holiday romance Christmas in Hartford. Known for her gripping thrillers and emotionally rich narratives, she writes stories that keep readers hooked while exploring resilience, trauma, healing, and the strength of the human spirit.

In addition to her writing career, Geletta works as a dedicated mental health therapist, supporting individuals and families on their journey toward emotional wellness and self-discovery. Outside of her professional life, Geletta is a proud mother of three—two adult daughters and a son in junior high school.
